Where it started:
Born & bred in Brisbane QLD, Australia.
My great Mum, born in Kenya, moved at 12 to Brisbane, Australia with her family. I popped into the picture a little later – raised from 0 to 6 with my great English grandparents.
All the good music stuff began swirling around during this time.

But we’re rushing forward:
My very talented younger brother Troy’s dad / my eventual stepfather was a session drummer.
He created a large musical / drumming impression.
Quite perfectly, we didn’t see eye to eye on some musical fronts, which laid a rebellious path I’m happy I took.
My very English Nanna’s Chromatic harmonica playing like a Delta Bluesman, stepdad’s loose wristed jazz drumming flourishes – all in the subconscious, not forgotten, as I forged my own path and style:

Bands, Gigs, Producing, …
I’d spend a lot of my latter musical years denouncing this fertile, hard working, sweaty genre, immersing myself within the more endlessly thoughtful, artistic colours that break more unique ground.
But it’s a glorious inner war. With the 16 year old Rock General inside never retreating, nor surrendering.
So I snuck around in other bands doing punk, funk, metal, Brit-Pop, alternate, …, even cabaret on the side to the main songwriting / playing / touring band of my teens & 20’s – The Untouchables.
Even gave a young Daniel Jones from Savage Garden his very first pro paid gigs.
Career – fast forward:
I played 1000s of Australian performances all over Australia.
Everywhere. Top to bottom.
Arenas, festivals & dives. 10 000’s to 10.
Film, TV, Radio, Theatre – in the spotlight & in production.
Indie & international major studios.
Name an entertainment/artistic performance – anything – I’ve done it.
Internationally.
In recent years till now, throughout the east coast & Tri-state USA
9 festivals & hundreds of fairs & clubs, Music On Broadway solo acoustic shows & spots on Cable News TV.
It was a long journey through life and continents, but now:
my solo debut album, lovingly & painstakingly put together over 3 states in Australia, wizzed around the world with additional international studio enhancements.
…it’s finally here:
